This is a really pretty Holiday Special Small decal 10 1/2 inch plate, with Holly decoration and gold trim, made in the U.S.A. This plate is signed on the back: LENOX SPECIAL - MADE IN U.S.A. A 9-3/4" sterling handled pie lifter or server with a stainless blade. This lifter is stamped STERLING with a W. maker's mark (we have been unable to identify the maker or pattern), and this fine flatware serving piece is in excellent condition with monograms, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A classic 9" by 7" black and white photo of George Burns holding a cigar, an impish grin on his face, inscribed in yellow (or ink that has faded to yellow) "Best, George Burns" at lower left. Burns (1896-1996) was an American actor, singer, and writer whose career in entertainment spanned many, many decades. With the passage of time, the photo has stuck to the glass at upper right and I am afraid to try to remove it. In a simple inexpensive frame.

Chinese carved large Hardwood polished Brown color Display Stand, heavy weight, made out of one piece of wood and supported by four(4) small feet attached to the stand with wooden peg, 2 1/4" high, 13 1/2" diameter-outside maximum diameter, 11 1/2" diameter-inside the rim. In the mid-1800's, an unknown artist painted the face of a young Black boy in warm, soft colors, and unbeknown to the artist, forever immortalized the young boy's image! Since that time a variety of items were been produced in the image of the "Young Black boy with the Torn Hat" or "Johnny Griffin".

This very scarce piece is very much reminiscent of Johnny Griffin items with the exception of the intact, broad-rimmed hat on this piece versus the torn rim typically seen on all "named" Johnny...

I cannot find out any information on this very large cardboard 8 sided box. It has some great Black Americana Graphics on it. Also flat packs so can post easily and be reconstructed for display whereever. Measures approx - 14" Tall and 12" Wide

A group of 4 hand carved bone sewing implements circa 1890-1900. All have drilled holes, lined borders and carved designs and the pieces include the 1-3/8 x 1-1/4" sewing clamp (small crack, carved end plug (replaced?)), the 2-5/8" needle case, the 1-1/8" tall thimble case (thin crack, glued wider crack, no lid) and the 7/8" tall thread case with hole in the top. All are unsigned and they are probably Asian...
