This bag looks like it's made of bakelite, but it doesn't test as such. I went and learned a lot about early plastics from Andrea DeNoto's book, " Art Plastic," and the best I can come up with is Thermoset Phenolic Resin. That said, whatever the material, this is an extraordinary bag in extraordinary condition.
Except for some light surface wear on the back side of the clutch, the bag seems perfect...

A fine and rare 18th century English button with a hand painted scene on paper under glass depicting 5 blacks working in the field. The button is vermeil, gold on silver, with the back showing English hallmarks. Excellent condition, with no issues. The button is 1" by 13/16".

A striking French button featuring a transfer print on enameled porcelain of a swallow. Brass back and surround. The condition is excellent with no problems, and the diameter is 1 1/4".

DESCRIPTION: A hard to find set of eight periwinkle blue (color retired) Fiesta dinner plates. Nothing says Americana or “Country Cottage” like Fiesta dinnerware, which can be mixed and matched with other Fiesta colors. Periwinkle blue was introduced by Fiesta in 1989 and discontinued in 2006; this set’s logo would date these plates to pre 1992. CONDITION: Light ware, no chips, good condition. DIMENSIONS: 11.5" diameter each.

A very uncommon and fine example of a tinque button with a blue base. No condition issues. In spite of the appearance in the photos, the edges of the gold foil are sharp and not blurred. This wonderful example has a goodly diameter for a tingue at 7/16" and a depth of 5/16".
