Outstanding composition goose Easter candy container. The neck removes to reveal the opening for the candy. This container is of the highest quality--it has painted metal feet, and a wooden dowel to hold the head in place. Unmarked, but definitely German. Circa 1930. Excellent condition, a little paint rubbing on metal feet. 3-1/4" long, 2-7/8" tall.

Extra-large German Dresden-type papier-mache Easter egg candy container. The chromolithographed paper covering shows a wonderful assortment of roosters, hens, chicks, and of course, Easter rabbits. This is undoubtedly the largest Easter Egg candy container we've seen. The interior is lined with the traditional star patterned paper and the rims have a Dresden border. This bowenite carving of a vase with three mythical animals, Qi Lin, is 5 1/8” high (with fitted hard wood base it is 6” high), 4 ¾” on the widest part and around 2” thick. There is a stamped date on the wood base of Sept. 2004. The carving depicts three Qi Lin playing with ribbons and a ball. It is in excellent condition.

A terrific and very rare lithographed tin chocolate box, the lid decorated with "The Wheel of Fund and Frolic" Halloween game. The spinner points to various party tasks such as "Push a pickle across the floor with your nose" or "Sing a mammy song in black-face".
