This wonderful, circa 1940-50's, box of Imperial school or art chalk manufactured by the Imperial Crayon Company of Brooklyn, New York, is in near mint condition! The chalk is unused and is all-original! The box features a fabulous graphic of a smiling clown busily writing using Imperial Chalk! The box measures 3.50 inches tall x 2.50 inches wide x 1 inch deep.

This vintage 1940's cardboard advertising fan for the Petersburg Furniture Company, Inc., located at 100 North Sycamore Street, Petersburg, Virginia, measures 12" long x 7 " wide and is mounted on a wooden stick handle...

A flamenco-style fan purchased in Spain during the 70's that has flowers painted on the mother of pearl sticks and black lace. The brass etched handle is a bit bent.

An antique Chinese lady motif tea chest tin with hasp. This domed trunk style tea chest is 8-7/8" wide and it stands 6" tall. It features a blue and yellow lithographed design and the swing-up brass handle has Victorian style decoration. It also has a brass hasp and eye for a lock and it has a circled DB or BD maker's mark which we haven't identified...

Measuring 15.75 inches long by 4 inches in height, this metal, circa 1930s, brown and yellow, French advertising sign reads:

"Defense de Fumer..sans Microphosphate Schloesing."

Translated to English, it literally means "No Smoking without Schloesing Microphosphate", clearly an advertisement for a chemical product made by the Schloesing Company.

Certainly a conversation piece in very good condition with the expected mild and non-substantial wear with minor rust here and there to the pain...

A really unusually nice signed photo from the Harry Potter phenomenon, of star actor Daniel Radcliffe, on an iconic image of him with crossed arms. The photo is hand inscribed in silver marker: "Thank you! Daniel Radcliffe AS Harry Potter". No date. There are many autographed photos of him on the market but on many the signature is only very rapidly scrawled, and the photo is not as simple, direct, and classic. This example is a keeper.

A clean copy of the 2010 first edition of the book "Michael Jackson: The Making of Thriller", signed by DOUGLAS KIRKLAND, the noted photographer of celebrities, who in 1983 was invited to document the making of that now world-famous, iconic video. Kirkland in 1961 made a series of erotic photos of Marilyn Monroe, and his career grew rapidly in the sixties and seventies...

This 1970 era, laser cut, Ramada Inn Hotel and Restaurant advertising sign sports patriotically-colored red, white and blue detailing. The sign highlights Ramada's SPECIAL GOLF PACKAGES and its very humorously-named "DUFFERS LOUNGE"! (In golf, a duffer is a mediocre or poor golfer.).

The 2 inch thick wood sign measures 20 inches long by 5.5 inches wide and is in very good condition...

A vintage unsigned chocolate brown coloured natural alligator purse c1940s-50s. This 12-3/8" wide purse stands 9-3/8" high to the top of the nickel plated clasp and it has a 7" high alligator strap as well. it has a brown silk lining with a zip pouch and it is in excellent condition with no scrapes, wear, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a white stain or residue on the liner inside...

This 13/16" high sewing accessory is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1897 and it has the T.E.M maker's mark for Thomas Edward Mannox. A clean fresh copy of the 2013 book "Montaro Caine", by the famed, late Bahamian-American actor SIDNEY POITIER (1927-2022). This is a first edition with clean dust jacket, signed in ballpoint pen. Poitier will be forever noted as the first African-American actor to win an Academy Award. He is renowned for his achievements in the world of acting and films, but was also a talented writer. Upon his death, there was an outpouring of commentary from figures inside and outside Hollywood.

An early 20th century reproduction print of famed Belle Epoque actress SARAH BERNHARDT (1844-1923), **HAND SIGNED/INSCRIBED** by her. The signature is in ink at lower right (guaranteed her original ink signature and not printed). The print is after the 1879 etching by artist Jules Bastien-Lepage. This print under magnification has the dot matrix confirming it is a reproduction and not an original etching. The value is in the autograph and inscription...

Measuring 7.75" tall with a bell diameter of 4" at its base, this fabulous, C1870's, school teacher's, hand-held bell sports a wonderful, all-original, vintage patina.

This solid, 1/8" thick bell gives its ring the classic resonance one would expect to hear in a 19th century bell - a sound that would carry a good distance announcing the start of the school day!

The top of the bell features a decorative 3 rimmed edging...

An attractive Victorian 12-3/4" long painted silk and bone fan with flowers. This unsigned fan is attractively painted on one side with pink flowers and leaves, and the bone supports are unadorned. This item is in very good original condition with no chips, cracks, major tears or stains, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor fraying to the silk at the ends...

Measuring 9 inches long x 7 wide x 1.25 deep, this circa 1920's, children's architectural, wooden block set, likely made in Germany, is in near perfect condition!

The set appears to have been lightly used, if at all! Nearly all blocks are present, and all of these are in wonderful condition! It appears that one red triangular block is missing along with the four rectangular pieces needed to complete the second window frame (the second paper window insert remains)...
