This wonderful vintage hospital sign from the 1920's once hung in a small central South Carolina hospital, as told by the 91 year old seller from whom it was purchased.

Taken right out of her sewing room where it had hung for decades on the wall, the black and gold sign, which is painted on a heavy particle-type board, has a very lovely, warm, aged patina. It was very difficult to photograph as the black background paint readily picked up the slightest light source...

Own the art that inspired Picasso and so many other 20th century artists........the sculpture originating in Africa. This is a later 20th century hand-made piece. Note the painted eyebrow area, the drilled rows of holes, and the interesting surface and color. I don't know the area of the continent from which this came but I suppose a specialist collector could tell immediately. It's a very interesting and decorative piece for the home. Size is approximately 12" by 6 1/2" by 3".

These vintage 6" inch tall vases have sprayed-on green colour and hand painted scenes of the falls with thickly dabbed white "foam". The legend SOUVENIR OF NIAGARA FALLS is painted in gold, and these vases show the roughness, straw marks and flaws typical of such souvenir ware. Very unusual signed and numbered boxed Baccarat decanter and six glasses. numbered 324/500, it was made in 1993 and originally sold for $3,000. This set has never been used. The pieces all sit at different angles, there are two different stoppers, one clear and one amber - take your choice. Each piece has both the Baccarat stamp and also the artist's signature.
