Charming Art Deco child's porcelain cup and saucer decorated with transfer scenes depicting "Little Boy Blue". The outside of the cup is decorated on both sides and there is a small scene on the interior, as well. The saucer has three matching small pastoral scenes. The rims and handle are decorated with gilding.

Origin: probably England, ca. 1930. Condition: excellent, normal glaze crackling, no chips or cracks. Size: cup, 2-1/2" tall; saucer, 5-1/2" diameter.

This Royal Doulton oval scalloped Series Ware platter depicts Charles at Chelsea Hospital. It is from the series Historic England.

This series was introduced in 1938. It bears the initials of the Artist M. F. It has a special back stamp that incorporates the scene name and the pattern number D. 5940.

It is 11 1/2 long and 9 3/8" wide. This item is in excellent condition including the gold rim.

A Bretby English pottery green planter or jardiniere. This lovely Arts and Crafts era English pottery bowl or planter made by Bretby. This 3-1/2" tall and 6-3/8" diameter bowl has a light green glaze at the top graduating to a deeper moss green on the bottom; it has the Bretby mark, MADE IN ENGLAND and the 1644D pattern mark stamped into the bottom. These four Minton Gold Ancestral dessert plates (#S 595) are quite handsome indeed. Each are marked on the back and also each has the Minton imprint. The brown-red transfer decoration of flowers and leaves is painted with turquoise and pink enamel to accent the flowers. Each plate is trimmed in gold and is in excellent condition.
