This porcelain figural group was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the 1940s. It measures 9 inches long and 5 1/4 inches high. It has an inscribed artist's name, K. Tutter, in the base. The subject matter of this group is quite comical. A naked cherub is fleeing from the attack of an angry goose. The little fellow is just "barely" getting away. The porcelain is modeled with great delicacy. The hand painting ads charm and detail.
