A Moser footed master salt with tooled and gilded rim. The colorless salt has a polished pontil mark and is 3.25 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. The salt is decorated with heavy gold enameling. There is wear to the gold on the edge of the foot and on the tooled rim.

Intensely colored amethyst glass inkwell finished with a gilt brass collar. The severe cubic form is relieved by canted, curved corners. The base is acid-stamped "Made In Czecho-Slovakia", indicating a date between the World Wars.

This Fazzoletto bowl utilizes the filigrana a retortoli technique, used in Murano since the 16th century; jade green and lattimo "netted" vertical canes produce this elegant coloring. Venini's fazzoletto design is documented in numerous books, most recently in "Paulo Venini and His Furnace" by Marino Barovier and Carla Sunego, P.131.
