Chinese Song Dynasty style Hare - JunYao Glazed Bottle vase, the body with a cross hatched design with a wonderful blueish brown glaze. Good condition size H 10.5" W 5"

Artistically shaped, this zun pot is glazed in sky-blue. Around its mid-body are two raised xuanwen. The zun is extremely beautiful and characteristic of the fine workmanship of ancient Chinese ru ware.Height: ４¼ inches (10.8 cm). Highly collectible and in an excellent vintage condition.

Gazed in greyish sky-blue, this remarkable ceramic zun vase is representative of the refined Official Junyao Ware as fired in the Song Dynasty. In ancient China, a chujizun vase like this could only be made for the use of a royal court. The zun vase is shaped after some earlier Chinese bronze vessels. Chinese antique six lobed deep stoneware bowl. Covered all over in a buff colour celadon glaze. Straight circular foot ring.

Size: Approximately 6-7/8" diameter by 2-3/4" high

Condition: Overall in very good condition. There is one chip on the foot ring. The base of the bowl holds the remnants of three kiln firing stints.

Age: Yaun Dynasty (1279 - 1368)

Lovely vintage ge type glazed wine cup, circa mid 20th century (not new, but not too old), most likely from Fujian or Guangdong. D: 9.5cm/3.8in and H: 5cm/2in.

Diameter: 11¼ inches (28.6 cm)Height: 3 inches (7.6 cm). Super-sized, this elegantly shaped bowl is glazed in shinny ivory-white. It bears on its inner wall raised floral patterns. Its inner bottom is decorated with a chrysanthemum-medallion. The bowl is characteristic of the superb ceramic-making workmanship of Song Dynasty Dingyao ware. Highly collectible and in an excellent vintage condition.

This rare jar has a wide mouth over a short neck with the ovoid body tapering to a short foot. Song dynasty, Henan wares.

These types of jars are made by using clays of two different colours. The top and bottom are then made separate and joined together horizontally.

Condition: On this jar, in a section, the top and bottom has separated along the horizontal luting line. A picture has been provided showing this separation...

A finely crafted pumpkin shaped Zisha clay Yixing stoneware teapot decorated on one side with applied pumpkin vine decoration. This item carries three seal marks which all bear the name Shi Yu Zhen. Condition: excellent - no chips or cracks and no restoration. A handsome Republic or Qing era celadon vase

Pair of Chinese stoneware turquoise glazed seated lions on pedestal bases.

Age: Ming Dynasty (16th/17th century)

Size: Approximately 14" high

Condition: There is some wear to the glaze and slight chipping. I am not sure if one of the ears on the lions has been repaired or if the yellow glaze covering has just chipped away.

An antique Chinese seal chop of soapstone with an image of Hotei. Chinese seals are used with red ink or cinnabar paste (zhusha). A seal in an East is a general name for printing stamps and impressions which are used in lieu of signatures in personal documents, office paperwork, contracts, art, or any item requiring acknowledgement or authorship. The process started in China and soon spread across East Asia.
