Condition: A few faint spots on the back and very slight toning.
Vintage glass ojime (slide bead for tightening the cord going from netsuke to inro) in ball shape, its surface covered with concentric “eyes” and dots, suspiciously resembling “Jellyfish Eyes” by Takashi Murakami. Beautifully made, very pleasant patina. Diameter 0.75 Inches.
Katagami which is used for katazome (stenci-resist-dye), made of many layers of washi (Japanese handmade paper). It is painted with kakishibu (persimmon tannin) for waterproof and strength. The pattern "Kanze-mizu" is derived from the crest of the Noh drama player Kanze Dayu which is whirl of water. He was the founder of Kanze style Noh (15th century).

Woman's short cotton kimono (hanten) with stripes which is handwoven and vegetable indigo dye. It was worn for everyday kimono or noragi, however, it is in excellent condition. The sucnd half of the 20th century. 120cm x 80cm
Rare Japanese Zenibako or coin box used by merchants and shop keepers the coins would be dropped through the hole on the top the front has hand forged iron loops and pulls for locks, no locks included. Wonderful old lacquer finish showing countless years of use. Great as a hole coin box for all the change.

Japanese limited edition cement mortar block print pencil-titled in kanji "Poem 69-69" (indicating production in 1969) by Maki Haku (1924-2000). Pencil-signed and numbered 59/155 in the lower margin. The artist's square red seal is at the lower left corner of the image. This print features the highly embossed ideographs characteristic of Maki's work. The designs were created by inscribing on wet cement. Paper size: 19 5/8" x 13 1/2" (image size: 18 3/16" x 12 5/16"). Very good overall condition...

The artisan, Akiyama Tadaichi, was born in Meiji 34 (1901) and passed away on May 19th, 1984 (Showa 59.) Gold and silver steel cigarette case. Work in the style of Komei. The landscape decorations are in gold and silver relief. Examination with a magnifying glass does not show us the typical scratches of a damascene work (nunome zogan). The borders are worked with floral motifs in slight relief, the hollows being filled with black lacquer. two golden metal chains to hold the cigarettes. These two chains are extendable by a clever spring system hidden in each link...
