Of circular form with a domed cover having a small elephant as knob. The exterior decorated in repousse with four mythological dancers in lobed cartouches between scrolling foliage. Condition: fine. Dimension: 10.6 cm high, diameter: 7.1 cm, weight: 180 g.

An Indonesian painted wooden theater mask, showing a crowned character with fine facial features and a moustache. Reverse with a leather strap and an Indonesian inscription. Condition: partial little wear to paint. Dimension: c. 18.8 cm x 15 cm x 10 cm.

A vintage Hmong textile from Laos, carefully crafted into a cushion cover backed with soft black pig suede. The cushion measures 11 1/4" x 15 1/2" with a 100% polyester insert. The textile itself consists of machine embroidery and reverse applique with some intricately worked hand embroidery as accents. The spirals symbolize longevity. Estimated age mid to late 20th century. Condition is overall great with some very minor fraying.

Cambodian Angkhor Thom design hinged Silver Box, 1 1/2" high, 6 3/8" wide, 3 7/8" deep, impressed design of Angkor Thom within impressed scrolling leaves and vines design border on top, and scrolling leafy design on all sides, impressed mark on the bottom. The condition is good.

Measuring 10" x 15 1/4", this textile was made by Hmong women living in Laos. Machine embroidery, reverse applique combined with some tightlyworked hand embroidery for accents. The spirals symbolize longevity. Condition is excellent and its estimated age is mid to late 20th century. The cushion is backed with a supple dark magenta pig suede and features an invisible side zipper for ease of dry cleaning. The pillow insert is 100% polyester fiber.

Good Karen basket waterproofed with natural tree lacquer, good condition- i.e. no damage. Circa 40 to 50 years- purchased in the 1990s in Mae Hong Song, along the Thai/Burmese border. I was back there recently and old baskets have all sold out. See last enlargement for reference.

Group of three vintage household woven cane baskets acquired in Kandy, Sri Lanka in the 1990s. These were old at the time of acquisition so I would date them to around 50 years of age. Very sturdy and good condition. Dimensions: 1# 19in/48cm x 15/40cm, 2# 15in/38cm x 8in/20cm, 11in/28cm x 5.5in/14cm. Two have wood bases and tops while the the midsize one is covered in skin (I am guessing goat).

Large Sawankhalok covered pottery box dating to 15th-16th cent AD. Cream and rust colored floral with geometric patterns interior rim chips see images . Size 4.25" by 3.25"

This blouse is from Thailand and made for use by a Karen Hilltribe woman. First the fabric was hand woven from cotton fibers. Next the surface was lower half was elaborately decorated with cotton thread embroidery and tiny sea urchin shells using a geometric pattern. Then it was whip stitched into the form of a blouse using white cotton thread. This garment makes a wonderful display piece and can also be worn for special occassions. 23 inches across and 27 inches long.

Antique Asian Silver metal and Coral Turquoise Prayer Wheel, well made with extensive wire work as well as set with real cabachon stones in Turquoise Lapis and Coral. The metal content is unknown and the wheel is made of 3 parts and open easily so if this were to be used I would glue the lid and base together . L 8.5" selling asis due to the loose nature of the 3 piece cylinder. 3 turquoise stones are missing

A man's cloth or beti by the Atoin meto people from West Timor, woven in three parts and sewn together lengthways. In the middle an antromorph pattern in warp ikat, both ends with fringes. Condition: good, faded, some stains. Dimension without fringes: 173 cm x 108 cm.

Two iconic ornaments worn by the people of Sumba island in eastern Indonesia. Made of different metals. One decorated with cocks. Cf.: Rodgers, Susan "Power and Gold: Jewelry from Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines" from the Collection of the Barbier-Muller Museum Geneva. Dimension: 6.5 cm and 6.7 cm long. Condition: some dents and granulation loss, one cock's eye lost.

Semi antique, large woman’s sarong from the Stieng/Xtiêng ethic group Vietnam. Over 60 years old, this is woven from all handspun cotton threads. There is a patch, 7cm x 2cm fray on one edge and small 1cm hole. L: 203cm/79on39.8in and W: 94cm/37in.

Old Korean brush made of the bark and root of pine tree used to put starch on the textile when spinning hemp, early 20th century, approx. L 22 x D 15cm (8.66 x 5.90in). Some expected stains due to age as is, and in aesthetic vintage condition as seen...

A large lidded basket, 21" high and 15" diameter, circa mid to late 20th century, likely of Indonesian origin. The handwork is impressive as is the design. Condition is good, there seems to be a slight asymmetry at bottom, with a little "lean" there, and "$20" was written on bottom at some point in time. Compare to images of baskets from Indonesia. I speculated that this could be African or possibly Central American but consensus seems to point to Indonesia...

A carved bone figure of a man, 7 1/4" in height, heavy for its size, appearing at first to be possibly of Northwest/Canadian/Arctic origin, but research shows that this piece is actually from the scenic popular Indonesia island of Lombok just to the east of Bali. Note the craftsmanship of this hand-made piece. There is the tuft of hair at top, and all arms and legs are movable. A number is written on inside of one thigh. Age is unknown but the piece certainly is vintage and perhaps older.
