Very fine old skirt from a Northern Chin ethnic group, Myanmar. The indigo dyed upper panel is woven with very soft handspun local cotton while lower embroidered panel is all silk. Circa 1980, Philippines woven reed and bamboo storage basket crafted by the Ifugao people of the Luzon Cordillera range in the Philippines. Known for their craftsmanship in basketry both Ifugao men and women engage in basket making. Created for everyday use, head baskets like this were used in the fields to collect rice or sweet potatoes and then to store, keeping perishables dry. In excellent condition, it measures 13.5" square by 6" high.

Bottle vase or sake bottle by Fukagawa, early 20th century. Under-glaze decoration of a carp, Koi, and stormy waves. Signed with Fuji mark. Height "5¼/ 13 cm. Condition: fine.

Chinese antique small display shelf with stand, made of hong-mu. A staggered shelf in the middle breaks up the square area. The front and sides of the unit is carved with delicate lined details and cusped edges. On each side of both the top and bottom shelf is a little window (four total) and the back is open. The underside of the base has a black lacquer panel painted with a butterfly and chrysanthemums.

This elegant hand made amethyst and silver bracelet is 6 ½ inches long and 3 quarters of an inch at the widest part. This bracelet is from a collection which we are selling for a retired Hong Kong jeweler. There are four pieces of amethyst which are surrounded by a small butterfly and leaf design. Wooden trunk carved with dragons in clouds. The lid has a carving of a dragon in a round medallion. The trunk is bordered with a carving of dragons climbing through clouds. It measures 41" wide 24" deep 17.5" tall.
