Worn for festival, this shapely Tibetan belt is covered with black and coral colored beads, cowrie shells and has a central medallion of silver with turquoise beads. The belt is secured around the waist with cord ties which extend from each side, I have used it as a wall decoration. At the widest section, the belt is 4 inches...The entire beaded length is 26 inches, but with the cord ties it will accommodate a large waist size

Oversized hanging scroll, portraying a beautiful young noble woman in travel dress, looking down and holding a large head. While her orange kimono is decorated with cherry blossoms, her overcoat is decorated with maple leaves in autumn colors. Signed: Tojo. Red seal: Seizan. Ink, mineral colors and gofun on silk. Japan, Taisho era, 1920s.

Set of three Japanese blue and white porcelain choko. Alternating panels of bamboo and flower decoration. Three friends of winter roundel inside cups. Patterned bands inside rim and above foot. Good condition with minor "flea bites" to rims. Each about 2 7/8 inches (7.3 cm) high and about 3 3/8 inches (8.57 cm) diameter.

Sublime Celadon Tea Bowl by the Last Korean Princess, Yi Bangja (1901 - 1989) with the original signed box. The glaze is the same prized celadon color and refined texture as that achieved by 12th century Korean potters. She has expertly created pools of thicker glaze and resulting darker color around the circumference of the rim, foot, and carved raised band. She has highlighted the single subtle carved lotus blossom with the same glaze pooling technique...

Length approximately 20 cm (tipspout to handle). Height approximately 11 cm. Few chips at the cover. In good condition.

This is a silk meisen haori ( jacket ). Meisen textile is a kind of pongee silk which is machine woven and has kasuri ( ikat ) pattern. Meisen kimono was very popular among young women as a casual kimono between 1920s and 1950s and many of them have eye-catching bold and contemporary design. Mid Showa period ( ca. 1940s~50s ). He was conscripted into the army in 1943. In 1945 he had lost his house, his atelier and nearly all his early works...
