This nice horn carving of a vase (or cup) is 4 5/8” high, 2 ¾” wide and 1 ¾” thick. It depicts the theme of “Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove”, Chinese name Zhu Lin Qi Xian (竹 林 七 贤). As is traditionally depicted, the group of seven scholars, musicians and sages wished to escape the intrigues, corruption and stifling atmosphere of the court life during the political chaos of the Three Kingdoms period (220 AD~265 AD)...
DESCRIPTION: A hand painted and artist signed steer skull with copper accents. The white steer skull is hand painted with Native American designs and incorporates ornamental attachments including copper plates over the eye sockets, an attached copper ring at the top of the skull, and hanging ornaments of leather strips, copper tubing and feathers. Signed and dated by artist Pat Schwartz, 1985, and titled "Flight Skull." Good condition and a perfect Southwestern accent piece...

A set of a tobacco container carved in the form of either two sages or eccentric spirits. The container is carved in the form where the figure is sitting inside a jar while the other is has the distinct eccentric smile seen in images in sages. Finely crafted Schmidt-Felling crystal bowl with with bronze frame and figural finial, from 1930s era. Size; Diameter of this fine item is 9 inches and it stands 10 inches in height, condition is consistent with age without any issues, bronze is somewhat tarnished.
A very rare 5 panel bride’s noren. The bottom of the curtain has a lovely delicate aqua wash. Traditionally the bride would hang this curtain in the doorway for about 2 weeks after she was married to announce that she was a member of the new family and that she has taken her husband’s family crest. There are a few minor age spots in the cream/off white area, but otherwise the curtain is in excellent condition...
Pair of Chinese mirror image porcelain lantern vases painted in qianjiang enamels showing a scholar and his student in a garden setting with the student offering the scholar a flower branch. There is writing on each vase in black and on the base is a six character mark in iron red.
Condition of these vases is good with no chips or breaks. The black writing has faded.

This ivory carving of ShouXin (God of longevity) accompanied by a young girl is a mid 20th century product. This ShouXin is 5 ½” high, 1 ½” wide and 1 ¼” thick; the young girl is 3” high, 1 ½” wide and 1” thick. The carved wood base with a pine tree design is 1” high, 4 ¼” wide and 2” thick. The carving depicts ShouXin carrying a long carved staff in his left hand; the other hand is holding a RuYi scepter...
Woodblock print by Japanese sōsaku-hanga artist Toshi Yoshida (1911-1995) titled "Irozaki Morning". It shows the beautiful Cape Irozaki, done with soft pastels in the sky as the sun rises in the distance. Waves crash upon the rocks in the foreground, and three ships can be seen leaving port. It is signed and titled in pencil along the bottom, stamped in the corner, and also signed in kanji along the outer edge.

A pair of Chinese porcelain sancai glazed models of Pheonix with each perched upon a flowering tree trunk. These Chinese porcelain figures of birds are typical of the examples made for export to the West during the latter part of the 19th century or into the 20th century, influenced by Ming pieces with sancai or three color glazes.

A Large and Heavy Paul Revere (Sons of Liberty) Bowl by Crichton Brothers of London through their New York Affiliate. The Bowl is 10" in diameter and 5" high and 5.25" at the base and weighs 29.1 Troy ounces. There is a monogram on the side "CAV FBV 1910-1035", presumably given as a 25th Anniversary gift that year. It is in excellent condition. Note that the original is in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
Set of 12 sterling large teaspoons in Douvaine pattern by Unger Brothers, Newark, c.1903. Beautiful figural pattern showing north wind and dolphin head amidst classic art nouveau flowing design with very clear definition on each. Spoons measures 5 13/16" long and the bowl is 2 1/16" long by 1 1/4" wide. Each spoon is marked "UB STERLING 925 FINE". There is a fairly light monogram "L"(?) on each spoon that could probably be removed...
