This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1950s. It has the artist’s signature, Fritz Heidenreich, impressed into the base. The bird measures 9 5/8 inches high and is 9 1/2 inches long. The bird is modeled with his beautiful tail feathers extended in their natural splendor. The colors are brilliant. He is wonderful to look at from any position. Heidenreich had the ability to bring this exotic bird alive in porcelain. Condition: Excellent

This rare and early example of the superb pottery of Ingrid and Erich Triller (TOBO) measures 9 3/4" tall and is 4 1/5" in diameter. On the underside of the foot is painted Triller Tobo. The incredible glaze is a complex of browns and oranges. Excellent condition. There is a very minor glaze eruption (done in manufacture) on the inside of the upper rim, which does not detract at all from the beauty and importance of this great vase. (See photos).

The vase is ovoid but somewhat flattened. It has an interesting crackle glaze imitating the Chinese Satsuma style. There are stylized fruits and flowers hand painted on both sides. Mid Century sterling silver teething ring with a large amber bead that moves. Marked on the inside "STERLING", it is in excellent condition. At its widest point, the silver teething ring measures 3.5" (8.9 cm). The very large natural amber bead measures 1.5" (3.8 cm) wide and 1" (2.5 cm) high. This Art Deco charger, c 1939, is from Kupittaan pottery in Finland. The decoration, a male nude combined with a border of laurel leaves, suggests a Olympics venue. The 1940 Olympic Games, originally scheduled for Japan, was rescheduled for Helsinki, Finland. Those games were postponed because of the Soviet invasion of Finland in 1939. This charger probably was created in anticipation of the Helsinki games. It measures 14" in diameter, and is in mint condition. A very rare object.

Here is a lovely and rare red Argenta fruit platter designed by Wilhelm Kage for Gustavsberg, Sweden. It measures 7 1/2" in diameter. On the underside is stamped in gold the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia, Argenta, the model number 1003 I. The original label is partially intact (see photo). All silver intact.

This porcelain monkey was produced in Denmark by Royal Copenhagen in 1964. The marking indicated this year. It is initialed by the artist Niels Nielsen. It measures 5 inches high and is 3 inches wide. The artist portrays a female monkey in a serene pose. She looks contented, sleepy and apparently pregnant. The modeling is well done and captures the character of our distant relative. She is hand painted in a naturalistic manner. Condition: Exellent first quality.

These 8 champagne glasses or sherbets were produced in Sweden by Orrefors. We believe they were made in the 1960s. The style is very “Modern.” The opening measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and they are 4 3/4 inches high. They are all signed with a stylus on the foot. The glass is extremely thin at the rim then increases thickness to accommodate the cut pattern. They are colored with a pale amethyst tint. Generous redware teapot by Dybdahl, Denmark, 1960’s. The inside, the spout and handle, rim and lid with a smooth transparent glaze, the rest unglazed. Impressed, stamped decoration of little masks or stylized sun faces. In the studio of Palle and Margrethe Dybdahl Margrethe did the wheel throwing and the decorations and Palle the glazes. The teapot takes 1.2 litres and pours well. Width spout to handle "10 / 26 cm. Condition: some roughness around the spout.

A hanging basket for flowers, by Kähler, Denmark, c 1920-1930. Slip glaze decoration typical of Kähler, with swirls in black, blue and brown over white, the glaze of a glossy, "watery" look. Three glazed holes for chains. Unmarked. Diameter "6½/ 16,5 cm, height "4/ 10,5 cm. Condition: chip and glaze wear to rim, some wear also to the green-glazed interior.
