There are no chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs. This item is in excellent condition.

A Bretby English pottery green planter or jardiniere. This lovely Arts and Crafts era English pottery bowl or planter made by Bretby. This 3-1/2" tall and 6-3/8" diameter bowl has a light green glaze at the top graduating to a deeper moss green on the bottom; it has the Bretby mark, MADE IN ENGLAND and the 1644D pattern mark stamped into the bottom. This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, repairs or damage other than some very fine allover crazing...
Lovely pair of porcelain compotes in the "Dresden Garland" pattern by Schumann. The pierced rims are heavily decorated with colorful flowers and gilding. Each compote is centered with a floral bouquet surrounded by entwined gilt and floral garlands. The decorative motifs are echoed on the pedestals. The bottoms are marked by Schumann.
Origin: Germany, ca. 1920. Condition: mint. Size: 7-1/2" diameter; 4-5/8" tall.

Wonderful early vase by Pierre Greber, dating from around 1935, in excellent condition. This unusual vase is 8 1/2" high and is very reminiscent of Charles Greber's Art Nouveau pieces. It is signed with the "Greber" incised signature in script Pierre borrowed from his uncle.
Very large vase by Pierre Greber, dating from around 1950 when he produced his famous "bronzed ceramics", with a metallic glaze on a black background. This vase in excellent condition measures approximately 11 1/2" high and is signed with the incised "Greber" signature Pierre borrowed from his uncle Charles. We currently have two pieces of this type by Pierre Greber, with gold iridescent glazes over black (the inside glazes vary from light blue-green to blue)...

A wonderful set of 16 tiles illustrating scenes from the story of Don Quixote. The tiles have incised lines separating the colored glazes. Each tile has a rich blue border.

This is a fine Japanese Imari blue and white transfer porcelain plate with cobalt blue scattered floral and brocade panels inside a stylized fan design on chrysanthemum ground, the base having three spur marks with cobalt floral decoration on rim. Meiji Period Condition: excellent. Measurement: 9 in.
