This set of 6 porcelain cups and saucers was produced in Germany by Rosenthal before 1950. The pattern is named “Linnie Lee” decorating an “Ivory” blank. The porcelain is cream colored. The cups have a little pedestal base. It is decorated with a factory transfer of floral sprays and wreathes of flowers. The colors are brightly colored and realistically rendered. The handles and rims are trimmed with gold.

A Maling Peony 6504A large 10-7/8" centerpiece bowl from the 1930s. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in 1927. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The porcelain is the finest quality the Western world has seen. The set has slightly scalloped edges that alternate with little points. It is hand painted with sprigs of nasturtiums and foliage. They are brightly colored and realistically painted. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold.

Here is a lovely and rare red Argenta fruit platter designed by Wilhelm Kage for Gustavsberg, Sweden. It measures 7 1/2" in diameter. On the underside is stamped in gold the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia, Argenta, the model number 1003 I. The original label is partially intact (see photo). All silver intact.

Generous redware teapot by Dybdahl, Denmark, 1960’s. The inside, the spout and handle, rim and lid with a smooth transparent glaze, the rest unglazed. Impressed, stamped decoration of little masks or stylized sun faces. In the studio of Palle and Margrethe Dybdahl Margrethe did the wheel throwing and the decorations and Palle the glazes. The teapot takes 1.2 litres and pours well. Width spout to handle "10 / 26 cm. Condition: some roughness around the spout.

A lidded bowl of flattened shape. Shiny glaze over flower fantasy motif in typical Gouda Art Noveau style, c 1920's. Diameter "6 ¾/ 17 cm, height "3 ½/ 9 cm. A very cheerful and colorful ceramic paneled vase decorated in the Merrie England motif by Newhall Pottery in England, dating to around 1930. The scenery depicts a castle with beefeater guards from Tudor England. The vivid, warm earth tones make you want to go outside for sunshine.

This superb vase by Berndt Friberg for Gustavsberg measures 5 1/2" (14cm) tall and is 3 1/2" (9cm) in diameter. On the underside is incised Friberg with the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia. The date code H signifies this vessel was created in 1966. The glaze is a complex of blues and reds. Perfect foot ring and exceptional condition.
