Two stoneware tiles from the “Fritte” range, designed by Aldo Londi and produced by Bitossi in the 1950s for Illums Bolighus, famous design department store in Copenhagen. Impressed fish motif with fused glass – Italian “fritte” – one in Rimini Blu, the other a light olive green. Aldo Londi was the artistic leader of Bitossi. This is a really nice pair of Wildfire Teardrop 2 1/4 inch high Salt and Pepper Shakers made by Hall China. These shakers have gold trim and are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1920s. It is signed on the base by the artist, Himmelstoss. It is 7 1/4 inches high. The piece is styled in the art deco manner. The modeling is simple and the colors are subtle. From her dress and braids down her back, you can see she is a country girl. Condition: Excellent

Beautiful lobed Kutani yaki dish in Yoshidaya style, modern. Decoration of camellia in white, aubergine, green, speckled yellow and gilt. The back with a character in gilt, possibly Qiu, meaning Autumn. It is also defined by Graesse in his classical work about pottery and porcelain marks as from the village of Shinomine in Arita. Diameter "6 ¼ / 16 cm, height "1 ¼ / 3 cm. Condition: fine.

Generous redware teapot by Dybdahl, Denmark, 1960’s. The inside, the spout and handle, rim and lid with a smooth transparent glaze, the rest unglazed. Impressed, stamped decoration of little masks or stylized sun faces. In the studio of Palle and Margrethe Dybdahl Margrethe did the wheel throwing and the decorations and Palle the glazes. The teapot takes 1.2 litres and pours well. Width spout to handle "10 / 26 cm. Condition: some roughness around the spout.

This is a large vase, and rather heavy, 21 1/2" long, 11" across, signed with a "P" in the chalky base. I've examined it closely and find no chips on rim or anywhere else. The piece is entirely hand thrown and decorated/painted, and quite Arts and Craftsy in feeling. I am a paintings specialist so this is somewhat out of my league. I did send images to Rago Auction in New Jersey and they were unable to identify the maker. It was found here in Southern California...

This porcelain and sterling silver vase was produced in Germany between 1934 and 1947. It has the underglaze blue crossed swords mark and incised model numbers. It measures 3 3/4 inches high, approximately 4 1/4 inches in diameter and the opening of the vase is 3 1/4 inches. The body of the vase is moved with panels to give it shape. Colorful assortments of fruits and flowers and hand painted while sprigs and berries dot the surface...

This is a truly elegant shaped TOBO vase by Erich and Ingrid Triller. It measures 6 3/8" (16cm) tall. On the underside is painted Tobo Triller. The unusual glaze is a yellow ochre, and one of the finest examples of the Triller's artistry. Mint condition.
