This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Royal Doulton in 1938. They measure 10 1/2 inches in diameter. They are made of fine bone china that is ivory in color. The entire front surface of the plate is decorated. They have elaborate gold borders with cartouches containing urns. The centers are hand painted with scenes of Italian landscapes and water views. These 8 porcelain tea cups and saucers were produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. The saucers are 5 3/4 inches in diameter and the cups are 2 inches high. They are decorated with the pattern known as “Rothschild Birds”. The porcelain is molded with a raised basket weave border. Colorful birds sit in a tree with a necklace hanging from the branches. This superb vase by Berndt Friberg for Gustavsberg measures 5 1/2" (14cm) tall and is 3 1/2" (9cm) in diameter. On the underside is incised Friberg with the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia. The date code H signifies this vessel was created in 1966. The glaze is a complex of blues and reds. Perfect foot ring and exceptional condition.

This pair of porcelain sea lions was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1950s. They measure about 5 inches long, 4 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches tall. They are signed by the artist K. Himmelstoss, a fine modeler who worked at Rosenthal. These adorable little guys look like they are kissing. They are well modeled and hand painted. Artisans at Rosenthal created animal figures with character and personality as you can see. Condition: Excellent first quality.
