This tumbler vase is part of the Martele Line produced by Consolidated Glass Company during the 1920's. The pattern is called 'Katydid', though it's usually referred to as the 'grasshopper' vase. 8 inches tall, the color of the glass is blue crystal. (The color is in the glass, not a wash applied over clear glass.) Excellent condition and very hard to find in this color.

This color on this iris plate is sometimes called carnival. It is really iridescent.

A smoky grey and / or steel blue bowl with softly folded sides, the shape typical of the 1950´s. Original paper label with: Pietro Toso & Co: Murano. The Toso family since the middle of the 19th century is one of Murano’s most renowned glass manufacturers. Width "4 ½ / 11cm, height "2/ 5 cm. Condition: fine.

Line 700 was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1929. Offered here is the #714 footed sundae dish (or sherbet). The color is a green ceramic wash applied over crystal and then fired on to fuse it permanently to the surface of the glass. crystal.
