This beautiful sterling silver case was originally meant for cigarettes but could just as easily hold business cards or ???. It is lavishly engraved with an all-over swirling pattern and bears the initials FC in script. The case is 3 1/4" x 2 3/4". It is hallmarked for Birmingham, England, sterling silver, and 1927-28. The maker's mark is FHA & Co.

Italian silver gilt grand-tour bell, ca 1920. Figural handle in form of piping faun with puffed out cheeks and hoofed and hirsute hindquarters. Based on Greek statuette excavated in Pompeii and today in the National Archaeological Museum in Naples. Marked. Very good condition with nice toning.

Simple and beautiful silver beaker or small vase with flaring rim and a neat “pearl” border at the base. Made by Van Kempen, Begeer & Vos (1919-60), purveyors to the Dutch Court. An uncommon boxed set of twelve Art Deco sterling silver cocktail picks with red bakelite finials in the shape of maraschino cherries.
