This Mangus Aase "Rose" cream or bouillon ladle is 6.5" long The bowl is 2 7/8" long by 1 1/2" wide. It is hallmarked K.W.830s Mangus Aase symbol NM. The NM is the generic mark which roughly translates as design copyright. The mark was used from 1876-1953.

Notice the hook on the reverse and that this ladle has a gold wash bowl. It is also hallmarked 18-7-1931.

Sterling toothpick holder by Victoria, Mexico, c.1945. Hand made and charming, it measures 1 1/2" high by 2" in diameter. Made of heavy gauge silver, it weighs 2 troy ounces. Signed "VICTORIA TAXCO MEXICO STERLING (bellmark)12 48", this early piece of Victoria is in excellent condition. Although the detailed design is similar, each of these Spratling candlesticks were handwrought a few years apart. Each carries specific Spratling hallmarks coinciding with their construction dates. The earlier example is 2 1/8" high. The later is 2 1/4" high. Each measures 2 1/4" across at the base. The pair weigh 155 grams. Both are in beautiful condition. Super stylish Art Deco sterling silver compote. Round bowl with flared rim and curved and tapering sides. Ovoid support with Bakelite band to round foot with same. Visible hand hammering with nice shimmer. Italian marks (1934-44) including unidentified Roman maker’s stamp (14 Roma) and Milan retailer’s stamp (Fratelli Veneziani). Good condition. Bakelite crack on foot.
