This Victorian grapes napkin ring is topped with a leaf draped over one side of a wine barrel which is elevated on a short pedestal. The base in the shape of a grape leaf is elevated by a low, recessed ring. It is hallmarked Standard Silver Col., Ltd, Number 733.

Two unique art glass bowls by Asa (Åsa) Brandt, Sweden. ÅB is said to have been the first glass artist in Europe to set up her own independent studio, in 1968. Controlled marbled or spatter glass design in white and blue, red and green. Both signed Åsa. Diameter "7 and 5 ¼ / 18 and 13 cm, height "2 ¾ and 2 ½ / 7 and 6.5 cm respectively. Condition: fine.

Two stoneware tiles from the “Fritte” range, designed by Aldo Londi and produced by Bitossi in the 1950s for Illums Bolighus, famous design department store in Copenhagen. Impressed fish motif with fused glass – Italian “fritte” – one in Rimini Blu, the other a light olive green. Aldo Londi was the artistic leader of Bitossi. Both tiles marked Illums Bolighus and 715 B (one) and 724A (the other)...

Of cylindrical shape, the glaze light green, the lid with a crackled finish, and decoration of a rearing horse. Relief moulded mark and model number 4083. Diameter of lid "4/ 10 cm, height including lid "2 1/4/ 5,5 cm. Condition: small glaze flake to inner rim of lid.

This beautiful cup and saucer is hand decorated in a pink (almost raspberry) and gold. It is marked Limoges, France and another mark with Raphael Weill & Cie, San Francisco. It is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repair, and the gold is also perfect with no wear at all.

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. Offered here is the 1102P pitcher in emerald green. This pitcher is referred to as the 20 oz Tri-Jug in the company catalogs. It is 3 sided with an applied handle and approximately 6 1/2 inches high. Excellent condition...

A fun Arts and Crafts Period round brass and copper covered box. A prominent cherry blossom decoration adorns the top - outlined by the studded brass cover with etched decoration - explosing a hand hammered copper surface. Etched vine decoration also around the side with copper banding and studs. Not sure if this is Western or Japanese production - the Arts and Crafts Period starting and extending later in Japan...

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in 1920. It measures 6 inches high. It is artist signed by K. Tutter, a renowned modeler of porcelain. The blanc de chine cherub is modeled with excellent definition and adorable character. He is sitting on a huge gold ball seemingly about to slide off. Offered is this rare Orrefors 'Ariel' glass vase designed by Edvin Ohrstrom - the vase has a 'Stress Line' running through it. Via the 'Ariel' technique, Ohrstrom decorated the vase with the 'peace motif' (dove, flowers, etc). The very heavy vase is 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) wide and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) high. Properly signed on its polished pontil. Because of the stable stress line (see pictures), this rare vase is offered at a low price .

A very nice set of 12 French-style linen cocktail napkins with a delightful woven rooster pattern. This is an especially colorful set made from very high quality fabric. Set of 4 Southeast Asian export silver compotes, ca 1920. Each: Shallow bowl with pierced and chased birds and flowers. Enameled rim with raised scallops interspersed with berries and leaves. Support has ribbed knop. Foot raised with applied foliate medallions with polychrome enamel. Foot rim encircled with animals scurrying along leafing branch (also applied). Striking and unusual. Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. For centuries, tastevins have been important accessories for French wine lovers, but until now we’ve never seen one that actually depicted “French wine lovers” in such graphic detail! Absolutely nothing is left to the imagination with this grouping of three. The unidentified maker is known to have made a similar tastevin depicting “Pétanque Fanny” merely lifting her skirts from behind. This very rare version goes quite a bit further, with Fanny in the clutches of a pair of old men...
