A French Vallauris dish by Cerenne, with black, silky glaze. Decoration in bright enamels of a gardener with his tools and flower pots.The back with impressed Vallauris mark and painted MC (painters signature) and Cerenne Vallauris. Cerenne (=CRN) was the signature used by one of the largest ceramic workshops in Vallauris, led by Charles René Roger Neveux. Diameter "8¾/ 22,5 cm. Condition: small rubbing to the glaze just outside the right flower.

This pretty crystal clear Doric and Pansy depression glass tea or coffee Cup and Saucer were made by Jeannette Glass from 1935 to 1938. This stunning vase of dark purple cut-to-clear glass is reminiscent of the fine work done by Bohemian or Belgian glassworks. It has a dramatic graduated shape and is molded with sharp, vertical panels with impressed elongated ovals. It stands 8 inches high with a rim diameter of 4 3/4 inches. Pair of 24'' tall brass church candle holders with exceptional detailing featuring a cross on the base. This is an older pair, no later than first half of 20th century and quite heavy. They have been lacquered, so you don't need to polish them. They were lamped in the 1970's. and I purchased them as lamps 10 years ago and opted to use them as candleholders. They fit a 3" diameter column candle...
