Lovely old hooked rug, still strong colors, with Welcome sign amidst red, blue, black, and white flowers, green foliage, a tweed background with black borders, early 20th century. Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the sherbet in French Crystal.(French Crystal is high polish figures against a satin finish background - named because of the Lalique quality this finish gives the glass.)
