This is a really nice 3 3/4 inch high 9 Ounce depression glass Straight Sided cobalt blue Sailboat, aka Ships, Water Tumbler made by Hazel Atlas Glass from 1938 to 1939. A very cheerful and colorful ceramic paneled vase decorated in the Merrie England motif by Newhall Pottery in England, dating to around 1930. The scenery depicts a castle with beefeater guards from Tudor England. The vivid, warm earth tones make you want to go outside for sunshine.

Teapot, milk jug, cup and saucer, a solitaire service made by the Carl Knoll factory in Czech Carlsbad / Karlovy Vary. Cross-striped like the Victorian bathing-suits – just a coincidence or might there be a thought behind this design? Carlsbad was a fashionable 19th century spa, famous for its hot springs. Impressed mark for 1848 – 1868. Height of teapot "4 ½ / 11 cm including handle, diameter of saucer "5 ½ / 14 cm. Condition: a nick to the cup (cf. pics).

Cambridge Pistatio Sugar is in mint condition. Only have the sugar, no creamer. Color is pistatio, otherwise, known as vaseline glass, or, by our modern young collectors, uranium glass. It glows under a black light. It measures about 2" high and 4" across. It does have the triangles "C" logo on the bottom.

An elegant French Art Deco silverplate jigger in the form of a champagne bucket. The form is completed by a pair of spherical handles typical of champagne coolers of the era. The bottom is stamped with an illegible maker’s mark.

In Venice Italy, these Obelisks were recently included in Fondazione Cini's exhibition "Paolo Venini and His Furnace," and are documented in the exhibition catalogue, page 308, model 4300. Constructed of thick canes twisted into a zanfrico design, this is a fine example of utilizing the traditional Venetian technique of zanfrico in a modern expression. The Obelisk has the 2 acid stamps: venini murano, made in Italy, measures 8" tall, and is in good condition.

Fenton Custard/Ivy Nappy is in mint condition. It has a butterfly raised motifs on the inside of the 2-handled bowl. It will glow under a black light.

The pattern is called 'Five fruits' and is one of Consolidated's scarce tableware lines. The set is listed in the Consolidated catalog as #2578tray and #2579 sundae.
