This is an Art Deco English sterling silver globe-shape ashtray with cigarette rest, fully hallmarked for London 1928. This 3-1/4" tall smoking accessory has a square-shape base, and it has the hallmarks for the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, the famous London makers of precious metal items. It has a later-added circular piece of felt added to under the base (which can be removed if you prefer to change that)...

Large and RARE Murano Cased BLUE, White and GOLD FLECKS Art Glass POLKA DOTS Center Bowl!!! Attributed to Alfredo BARBINI, circa 1950-60s!!! The design is in the same theme as the Circus Tent pieces. Royal Danish sterling silver gravy boat on stand. Made by International in Meriden, Conn. Boat bellied with helmet mouth, banded scroll handle, and oval reeded foot. Stand ovalish with pierced acorn motif at ends. Desirable pieces in the classic pattern. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern name, and no. G39. Very good condition.

Black transferware on cream Wedgwood porcelain plates of jungle animals. The plates were made from hand engravings by the Wedgwood School of Engraving. The border was designed the wife of James Stevenson-Hamilton, the first warden of Kruger National Park. In excellent condition, they measure 10.75 inches in diameter.

A Pair of Sterling Silver Sardine or Tea Sandwich Tongs, by SSMC (Sterling Silver Manufacturing Co.), in th "Simplicity" pattern, introduced in 1910. Length 5", circa 1920 and in excellent condition.

The Chiquita sets of children's dishes was made for J Pressman Company of New York. Although it's always been assumed to be an Akro Agate production, new research points to Alley Agate as the company of origin. Pictured is an assortment of items in transparent cobalt and also the hard to find baked on colors...

A Pair of Sterling Silver Compotes by Alvin Silver Co., of Providence, RI (acquired by Gorham in 1828). From the 1920's. Monogram "D" on one compote. Dimensions; 6" in diameter x 3" high; 12 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

Pilgrim made this 11.25" Vase from a Phoenix/Consolidated mold. Unmarked reproduction by Pilgrim (most are signed), made in the early 1960's. Has the dogwood pattern. Excellent condition.

Beautiful Daum Nancy 4 5/8 inch tall cameo cabinet vase decorated with red lilies and green leaves on a pale amber ground which in turn incorporates an amethyst spatter pattern near the base. The vase is 1 7/8 inches in diameter at the rim and 2 ½ inches at the shoulder. The vase is signed with the Daum logo and “France” in cameo. A differently shaped vase having the same decoration and coloration is shown as item E in figure 127 on page 86 of Blount’s “French Cameo Glass.”

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1925. The date code indicates this year. The floral painting is signed by E. Phillips. The plates were produced especially for the retailer Ovington Brothers in New York. These plates measure 10 1/2 inches in diameter. They have a two inch crimson red border that is overlaid with elaborate raised gilding. Brilliantly colored flowers fill the centers of each plate...

Cylindrical pot in Chinese porcelain copying an 18th century model. Decor finely executed in enamels of the rose family, painted by hand, representing scholars under a pine tree at the edge of a lake.The reverse with poem. 20th century copy, probably from the 1960s. An original must exist in a Chinese museum. This type of high quality porcelain had to be ordered to be offered as a present? or others. In any case, porcelains of this quality from this late period are not numerous. Very damaged...

Pair of pretty Edwardian sterling silver candlesticks. Made by Fisher Silversmiths, Inc. in Jersey City, ca 1950. Each: Ovoid socket with detachable and turned-down bobeche; baluster shaft on domed foot. Rims have applied shells and scrolls. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. 3310. Very good condition. A few minor pings.

A bowl or ashtray in black, still transparent glass. No marks, but Italian (Murano) and probably by Alfredo Barbini, 1950's. The interior iridescent in "oily" rainbow or mother-of-pearl shades so that, in combination with the lobed design, a sea-shell effect is created. The exterior also iridescent, in a metal-like shade. Width: 3 ¾"/10 cm, height: 2"/5 cm. Condition: small nick to bottom at 3 o'clock as shown in the photo, otherwise fine.

Dramatic sterling silver seafood serving bowl. Made by Buccellati in Italy. Two joined scallop-shells bowls on scallop-shell supports. A traditional form enlivened by the figure of an octopus squatting in the center, its curled and tangled legs draped over the bowls. A graphic contrast between the scales and suckers of the octopus and the controlled and stylized ornament on the shells. Very original. Beautiful craftsmanship...

A vintage English leather traveling case intended to hold a set of shirt studs. The top is embossed "Studs" in gilt letters. The interior has a sueded surface. Though intended for use when traveling, these boxes are an excellent way to store either cufflinks or studs on a daily basis. The bottom is marked "Real Hide Made In England."
