Here is a fabulous piece of crewel which may be used as either a coverlet, wall hanging or rug. The crewel is 100% wool and has a linen backing. Issues: the backing needs to be re-tacked in certain areas, there is minor staining,and the crewel is pilling in a few areas. We prefer not to clean it. Measures 40" x 67".

An exceptional pair of near perfect condition Art Deco design and period 'Gueridon' form side tables. The tables with circular tops 27.5 inches in diameter, 28 inches high. Lower shelf 17 inches in diameter and elevated 8 inches from floor. Table top composition consists of eight pie shaped quarter sawn burl maple veneer pieces which center an ebony bulls eye. A brilliant red transparent lucite jewelry box or dresser box, the hinged lid inset with a sterling silver medallion illustrating a pair of lovebirds. The interior of the lid has a small round mirror. The medallion is stamped "Sterling" and has a design patent number registered in 1945.

Circa 1925 antique or vintage (about 100 years old!) framed ornate manuscript style ode to the home and house, from the writings of poet and author Maurine Hathaway, with gilt background and intriguing spots of color, measuring 10 1/2" by 9 1/2" fully opened out. The piece is hinged in the middle so is meant to stand on its own on a table top. I do not believe the color and gilt hand applied, though, it gives that appearance. The inspiration is clearly from medieval manuscripts...

This box measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 2 3/4". The top has a beautiful design with a bezel-set, green / turquoise, bezel set stone "handle." The top is sterling silver. The base is copper with a wooden inlay. The inside of the top is marked STERLING S & E for Sweetser Manufacturing Co. The bottom of the copper base is also marked S & E (with the company's hallmark) numbered 19928. It has a monogram I cannot decipher (which, of course, can be removed by any jeweler)...

This box, although not signed, appears to be done by DeVez. It has a lovely sceic enamel top of a house in the snow It also is decorated on the sides, and measures 2 1/2" tall x 3 1/2" wide. It is in perfect condition.
