4.5" Navajo Profile Spoon c. 1895-1900

An original North West Native American Haida Indian carved cedar panel. With Eagle and Bear tribal design motif initials carved into the wood on the verso R D attrubited to Robert Davidson. 24.5" W x 35.25" H x 1.5" D. A beautiful example of North Coast Native Indian art.

This cradleboard was made by Cecilia Cuthair of the Mountain Ute Indians in the 70's probably as a child's toy. There is no papoose or doll inside...but it is stuffed with cloth covered newspaper to keep its shape. The front is soft cream colored deer or elk skin (brain tanned) with beaded trim. The rear is covered with animal skin.

The cradle board is 20 inches long and 8 inches at the widest point. Condition is pristine.

A hand carved wood totem pole on a round base, made for the tourist trade at mid-century, no signature, 7" high and 6 1/4" widest point on the wings, with original yellow sticker on the back from Indian Craft Shoppe, 905 Government Street, Victoria, British Columbia. There is a little chip off the tip of one wing, otherwise is in good condition.

This Native American watch cuff has 2 turquoise sea-foam nuggets in a blue-green color with lots of pitting and an irregular surface. It also has a piece of red coral. Both the turquoise and the coral are set in toothed bezels. It has the letters "BS" incised in the back of the bracelet.

A carved and painted wood model of a totem pole of the Tlingit, indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast of North America. Depecting a frog, a whale, a bear and a beaver, the back is inscribed in ink and the base is dated New York, U.S.A. June 1931. Dimensions: c. total 40.1 cm high, diameter stand: c. 7.5 cm. An exceptionally early work in ink and watercolor by the familiar New Mexico artist PERCY TSISETE SANDY ("KAI SA"), 1918-1974. Measurements are 6 1/2" by 4 1/4" (11 3/4" by 9" simply framed). The subject is a traditional eagle dancer of the Hopi people in full costume. This bright and cheerful vintage East Coast Micmac 4-7/8" diameter wall hanging features a flower basket motif, with yellow, light and deep green, red, orange, brown and black beads sewn on what looks like mustard coloured felt, and sewn to/backed with a deerskin backing. The hanging strap is in brown shell-shaped beads (they look like small painted shells or seeds) with green and yellow beads...

This vintage female Seminole Indian doll is made of palm fronds. She wears traditional costume with patchwork skirt, and a yellow bead necklace. Except for her top which is a bit dirty, she is in excellant condition. She is 9 inches tall. Thls doll is one of several Seminole Indian dolls which were brought back from Florida by a loving uncle and given to me as a very young child in the early 1940's

Fine lot of two silver items, incl. a broad bracelet and a large silver Concho plaque with central torquise, Indian, Navaho. c. mid. 20th. century.

Attractive pieces, the Concho with sterling silver stamps, both are in fine 925 sterling silver.

Wonderful 1960’s sterling silver concho belt by a very fine Navajo silversmith of N.P, c. 1950s-60s.

Unusally large and heavy plus very ornate with particularly fine select large torquise stones mounted on 12 Conches and the massive buckle.

The belt measure 130 cm. length and weighs 932 grams, almost a kilo. Probably the largest we've seen for sale and the high weight must be due to the larger size of the Conchos and buckle.
