A rare carved caramel and honey-colour cameo agate snuff bottle of compressed pear-form shape. The bottle is raised on an oblong foot ring and is carved on one side through an opaque caramel-colored area of the stone to the semi-translucent soft honey-colored body with a scholar watching a bat in flight. Matching original stopper.

Gorgeous scenic painting by Chinese artist Tsui Chian Tsai of a small town amidst a beautiful mountainous landscape, with a murky, grey sky and delicate white speckles of paint to represent the falling snow. Two large boats are returning to shore, covered in snow from their long trip. Very detailed work with a lot of realism, the artist truly captured the feeling of an extremely cold climate. This hand made, gold plated over silver, ring is 1 inch long (measured on the top). It holds three amethyst stones. The large stone in the center is irregular. Two small ones on each side are round. The fancy workmanship makes this ring very dramatic and interesting. Since it was made as an adjustable ring, it can fit a male or female hand. Like Items 3358 and 3361, it also came from a Hong Kong jeweler’s collection. It is in excellent condition.

A beautiful old large Chinese cloisonne mirror in excellent condition. H:18" $465

This inlayed Chinese ebony brush holder is 7” high and 6 ½” in diameter. It depicts a Shou Lao (god of longevity) holding a cane; a young boy carrying a flower basket stands behind him. Another young boy wearing a red robe is leading a deer cart filled with flowers and plants and walks in front of Shou Lao and his companion. The inlayed materials are dyed coral, mother of pearl, lacquer and hard stone. It is a 1950’s product. Aside from small age cracks, it is in great condition.

A Chinese export famille rose wall vase, featuring a poem and a Mandarin lady with her children. The inside and the back is glazed in turquoise blue. The rims are dressed in gilt. On the recessed base, there is a six character Qianlong mark in iron red.
