This is real bone carving panel/painting depicting dragons playing with fire ball. At the back of it is the chinese character of Fok and 5 bats surrounding it. This very nicely molded mid 20th century Guan-Yin statue is 9 5/8” high, 5 ¼” wide and 2 ½” thick. It depicts Guan-Yin holding a Ruyi seated on a lotus surrounded rock. A basket containing fish sits on her left side and three fish hold her right sleeve. The artist’s seal is on the back of her robe. Aside from a small chip from a fish tail, it is in great condition.

This large carved ivory beauty is a 1950’s product. It depicts a young lady (quite possibly an image of a fairy) holding a flower basket in one hand and a branch of peony blossoms in the other. There is a phoenix leaning on her left side. She is almost 14 ¾” high, 3 ¼” wide and 2 ¾” thick. It is in excellent condition.

This very nice painted Famille Rose planter is 3 ¼ inches high, 8 3 /4 inches long and 7 inches deep. It is dated 1929. It depicts a water lily and leaf on one side and “Da Juan” style characters around the remaining sides. There is a red maker’s mark on the bottom but it is not readable. Aside from some small chips on the rim, it is in great condition.

Figurine of Cai Shen, God of Prosperity, with his sceptre, c 1930 or possibly 1944. Enameled in Famille Rose colours, the face left unglazed but painted. Impressed Chinese lettering to the base, and 44. Height "5 ½/ 14 cm. Condition: fine.

This Miao Chinese ethnic minority jacket would have been worn by a teenage girl for festival. All the batik work was hand-painted and all stitches and embroidery was done by hand. The row of silver hemisphere's across the back represent the "bubble" in the Miao creation myth.

The jacket is approx 70 years old and is from Zhi Jin
