A large heavy Korean brass bowl or tray that was used to carry smaller bowls of rice and vegetables to men working in the fields. The bowl was wrought to shape, and it shows the evidence of being hand pounded. The Bowl measures about 3 1/2" high x 13 1/2" in diameter, weighs about 3 1/2 pounds, and dates to the early 20th Century. The condition is very good with only minor surface tarnish and corrosion. It was the custom in Korea to polish brass, and such a bowl would shine up beautifully...

Korean hanging Brown Lacquered Wooden Sword Rack, or Sword Display Shelf, vintage 1960, 26" wide, 22" high, 4 1/2" deep-bottom rack, three(3) Brass inlaid flying geese decoration on the top panel and 3 rows of the curved holders on both sides to hold each sword. A Korean whitish brass incense burner with cover that was used during family Confucian ceremonies. The lid is cut with the eight diagrams which will give the owner protection from misfortune and assure prosperity and happiness. The burner measure about 7 1/2" high x 4 3/4" in diameter, and dates to the early 20th Century Condition: The Condition is excellent.
