India 19th c hand carved stone spice bowls, used throughout India in traditional homes these spice bowls are carved in a variety of stone these are mostly seatite . This mid 20th century carved hardwood netsuke of a bird is 3 ¼” high, 1 ¼” wide and 1” thick. It depicts a bird resting on rock. The artist signature is on the bottom. It is in great condition.
