Fine Chinese Cloisonne 5 Claw Dragon Tea caddy Stash container humidor. Beautiful jar with great detail no damage unmarked , very heavy gilt bronze and the lid with a slight turn sealed the jar when held upside down lid stays on. This is a great piece for tobacco or Flower bud . Large d 3.75" h 3.5". Period is unknown but it came from an old estate so its got some age.

Vintage Chinese jadeite bangle. Beautiful natural coloration of white/purple jade with greyed-green.

Chinese blanc de chine porcelain figure of the bodhisattva of compassion Quan Yin. She is sculpted lounging against an armrest with a lion's face. One of her delicate hands is emerged out from her robes, clutching a sutra scroll. The bodhisattva is easily identified by her large ear lobes and protruding third eye, attributes of an immortal being. Her backside is signed with a chop and a gourd shaped signature.

Republic period, circa 1950, Chinese carved jaded miniature of a carpe fish seating on a lotus leaf with beautiful carved details. It measures 3.5" long, 1.5" wide .75" deep.

Unusual Japanese WWII metal obidome (sash ornament) with low relief chrysanthemum flower and stylized character on the front, and 2 characters and year 1942 on the back. Beautiful metal work, nicely made back of the piece. Obidome is worn on an obi cord that holds the obi sash together, it is the only type of jewelry worn by Japanese women on formal occasions, and could serve as netsuke as well. Very well made, pleasant patina. Diameter 1.18 inches.

Japanese glass ojime in a form of tombodama bead of flattened ball shape with black body and 2 pairs of sunflower and face designs. Tombodama can be translated as “dragonfly ball” and the name is thought to come about because when the molten glass is applied to the core bead it resembles a dragonfly’s eye. Superbly made piece, in perfect condition. Diameter 0.81 inches.

An otherworldly form from the age of Sputnick by important artist Morino Taimei exhibited at the 1959 Nitten National Art Exhibition and published in the Nittenshi (vol. 22). Group of three vintage household woven cane baskets acquired in Kandy, Sri Lanka in the 1990s. These were old at the time of acquisition so I would date them to around 50 years of age. Very sturdy and good condition. Dimensions: 1# 19in/48cm x 15/40cm, 2# 15in/38cm x 8in/20cm, 11in/28cm x 5.5in/14cm. Two have wood bases and tops while the the midsize one is covered in skin (I am guessing goat).

A vintage Hmong textile from Laos, carefully crafted into a cushion cover backed with soft black pig suede. The cushion measures 11 1/4" x 15 1/2" with a 100% polyester insert. The textile itself consists of machine embroidery and reverse applique with some intricately worked hand embroidery as accents. The spirals symbolize longevity. Estimated age mid to late 20th century. Condition is overall great with some very minor fraying.
