Embroidered in vivid pink on olive cotton, this purse from Swat valley is 50-60 years old and in excellent condition. Geometric patterns embroidered in straight stitching in pink floss silk are outlined in yellow and white double running stitch, with accents of purple and cream. The purse measures 18 x 19.5 cm.

This is a real jade (hard stone) carving of Cicadas pendant, it is a symbol of purity in chinese culture over thousands of years, it is very nice and simple works of art. In good condition, sign of wear and age, it is from circa 1900s and can be much earlier than that of Qing Dyanasty, found in XinJiang Province... please ask for detail photos. Measuring 63 x 88 inches (160 x 224 cm), this hand-embroidered wedding shawl from the remote region of Indus Kohistan in northeast Pakistan is estimated to date to the mid or late 20th century. Worked in extremely fine cross stitch and satin stitch in silk thread in interlocking geometric motifs and embellished with beaded edges, a textile such as this may take up to six months to produce. This shawl is embroidered on a black cotton ground and is in excellent condition.

This hand painted Japanese ceramic bowl is an early or mid-20th century product. It is 7 1/8” in diameter and 3” high. It depicts white cherry blossoms and red maple leaves on a milk white crackled background inside and outside. There is a small finger pinch close to the rim. The stamped maker’s mark “Takamine” is near the bottom. It is in great condition.
