DESCRIPTION: A hand woven Native American rug in a traditional tumbling blocks pattern, a Navajo motif also found in Americana quilts. This attractive, double sided, flat weave wool rug uses natural dyes in red, black and tan to form the block designs. Very good condition, no holes or tears. DIMENSIONS: 55” x 35".

Chinese Green Pottery Cricket Play cage, or Cricket Bowl, 3 1/2" high, 5 3/4" diameter-top rim, 7 7/8" diameter-unglazed bottom, in good condition.

Oversized hanging scroll, portraying a beautiful young noble woman in travel dress, looking down and holding a large head. While her orange kimono is decorated with cherry blossoms, her overcoat is decorated with maple leaves in autumn colors. Signed: Tojo. Red seal: Seizan. Ink, mineral colors and gofun on silk. Japan, Taisho era, 1920s.

Boro asa noragi (field wear) made of hand-plied asa (hemp). It has indigo dyed cotton cloth in the buttom and some mending patches. The first half of the 20th century. 63cm x 90cm

DESCRIPTION: A vintage terra cotta pitcher (or handled pot), skillfully hand-painted in green and white glazes with deer painted on each side using fluid brush strokes. Originating from the Tlaquepaque-Tonala area of Mexico, this delightful redware pitcher is in excellent condition; no chips or cracks. DIMENSIONS: Body is 6.25” x 5.5”; 5” high.

A fine Japanese antique Satsuma tripod koro with lid. Decorated on one side with a group of children playing and on the other side a garden scene with flowers against a fence. The domed cover decorated the same with a seated foo dog finial resting on a ball. Resting on three animal head legs. All highlighted with gilt.

Age: Meiji Period (19th Century)

Condition: Very good condition. There is a small chip on the mane and the tail of the foo dog.

Large impressive antique Japanese Kyo-Satsuma-yaki vase. Various flowers and butterflies surround the vase between an accordian style border which is repeated on the collar of the vase. All set on a blue ground and outlined in gilt. The inside and the base glazed clear to reveal a light crackle...

Chinese antique six lobed deep stoneware bowl. Covered all over in a buff colour celadon glaze. Straight circular foot ring.

Size: Approximately 6-7/8" diameter by 2-3/4" high

Condition: Overall in very good condition. There is one chip on the foot ring. The base of the bowl holds the remnants of three kiln firing stints.

Age: Yaun Dynasty (1279 - 1368)

Chinese antique Qingbai carved bowl. The deep rounded sides sketchily carved on the exterior with flower sprays, covered inside and out with a pale blue glaze that continues over the narrow ring foot to cover the base and stops below the unglazed rim which retains remnants of the original tin mount.

Condition: Overall very good condition. No breaks...

Large Chinese low bowl painted in blue hues against a white ground with a bluish hue. This bowl features two deer, the male and female under a large tree. The underside of the bowl has three evenly spaced sprigs. The base and rim have been left unglazed. Unmarked.

Age: Qing Dynasty (Possibly Kangxi period)

Large Chinese antique vase in lantern form done in the famille rose palette. Decorated on one side with stacked treasures. The reverse holds a poem in black ink and a seal in red ink. This type of design is commonly referred to as "Bo Gu" (Old Treasures) or "Hundred Antiquities". The inside is glazed white, as well as the base. The foot rim unglazed. The neck rim also unglazed. On the base there is a stamped Tonghzi mark in iron red...

A Chinese Blanc de Chine Lotus bowl made in the Dehua kilns. The deep rounded sides naturalistically modelled in the form of a lotus leaf, elegantly rising to a rim with furled edges. The interior of the lotus blooms lightly incised with veins...

Chinese famille rose plate with a central figure of a rooster with other roosters among lotus blooms and other foliage. The underside of this plate has been covered in pewter, leaving the base exposed that shows a six character iron red Guangxu mark. With the addition of pewter, this dish is quite heavy.

Age: Guangxu 1875-1908
