The fox wears a lotus leaf on his head. This more rare variant features grasses in the background.
This mask or may be an effigie as the back is flat likely represnts a raktsatsa ( which means devil or bad spirit). Indeed this might not be a mask weared by people but rather an effigie posted on an entrance either a door or a window as the back is flat. This piece is very old with a local repair, carved in semi hard wood, at least around 100 y , large size H 38 cm , wide 25 cm. From East central central, district of Rameschap,likely from Tamang of Brahman people.
A engaging contemporary Japanese print done by the noted artist, Saito Kiyoshi (1907-1997) The print is potraying a view of Horyuji, the world's oldest wooden structure and a UNESCO site. Measuring 8 x 116 inches (20.3 x 294.6 cm) including the braided fringes, this woven wool sash from Tibet is in excellent condition. The sash is a dark bergundy with indigo stripes and orange thread sewn along the edges to prevent fraying. Estimated age: mid to late 20th century...
Chinese carved Turquoise Ornament or Tassel with Chinese Characters, and Macrame knot, 7/8" high-maximum height, and 1/2" high, 3/4" wide, 3/8" thick for carved Turquoise only, two(2) round Turquoise beads on top and bottom together, the carved turquoise pendant is before 1920's. The condition is good.
Very nice ghurra with super patina, two protectors (H 3 cm) are carved in the middle of the milk pots. H 32 cm

A pair of vintage Chinese hand carved display or plant stands with marble inserts. Measures 9.25" high x 7" diameter. Marble insert measures 6" diameter. Well constructed and solid.
A Korean whitish brass incense burner with cover that was used during family Confucian ceremonies. The lid is cut with the eight diagrams which will give the owner protection from misfortune and assure prosperity and happiness. The burner measure about 7 1/2" high x 4 3/4" in diameter, and dates to the early 20th Century Condition: The Condition is excellent. It is satin but feels almost like velvet. The condition is new, probably never been
used. The bottom padding was still covered with a white cloth when this Uchikake was purchased (Enlargement 5). The measurements are 53" wide and 73" long.

Round tea bowl of more or less circular shape on a bamboo node foot. Fine cream-colored stoneware with decoration in the form of an abstracted character in slightly raised slip relief on opposite sides of the bowl. The bowl is covered in a light gray glaze on the inside, the outside is covered in a bright copper red glaze, turned brown along the foot.
No potter’s mark, but the bowl has strong resemblances to works by Kawai Kanjiro (1890-1966)...
Canadian Northwest Coast Haida Indian hand dance drum by Clarence A. Wells ( -1950) depicts a pair of hawks in the graphic Haida style. Title "Fish Hawk". and signature present along edge. The red, black, and white coloring of the eagles makes a dramatic contrast with the natural background color of the drum surface.

The Chinese excel at modeling horses, and this example is not exception. It is a soapstone carving of a horse running wild, its mane flying in the wind. The greyish-white stone is punctuated with russet tinting. Excellent condition, and mounted on grey-white plinth.

Balinese antique pair of Dwarapala temple guardians. Carved of stone, these figures once guarded a temple entrance, a warning to humans and negative energies not to pass. A set of four unusual small dishes enclosed in the original signed wooden box by Kitaoji Rosanjin (1883-1959), one of Japans most famous 20th century artists. Iron reds underlie the pale earthen glaze, with a dollop of Oribe green on one side. Almost as if planned, the pieces have firing cracks filled with black lacquer, adding a fourth consideration to the standard essentials: form, design and glazing.
