Hand-woven silk sakiori obi (sash) whose weft is bunch of mixed color of silk yarn and warp is black cotton yarn. Generally sakiori is hand-woven of recycled strips from old cloth for wefts , however, we call the one also sakiori, whose wefts are bunch of yarns. In excellent condition. Uzbek/kazak hand knotted wool rug. The center is dominated by a light yellow medallion edged with red. The exterior band has a rectalinear pattern in blues, greens, reds and yellows bordered by two narrow bands filled with flowers. Dates from mid 20th century. It measures 42" by 53".

A vintage Japanese Ranma (transom) made of Kusunoki (Camphor) and Hinoki (Cypress) woods. Hand carved in deep relief depicting an auspicious Plum Blossom Tree with Bamboo and Irises. Celebrating the change of seasons from winter to spring, it shows many flower buds ready to bloom with a few blooming in all its beauty.
Age: Late Taisho through Early Showa Era (1926-1950).

Silk crepe kimono with modern design whose techniques are katazome (stencil-resist-dye) and hand-painting. India 19th c hand carved stone spice bowls, used throughout India in traditional homes these spice bowls are carved in a variety of stone these are mostly seatite . The larger has a nice warm patina I use one in my kitchen for sea salt. Size over 3.75 w on larger 2.75 or so on the smaller H just under 2 " on taller.
Antique Japanese Inaba Cloisonné vase in red with a bamboo leaf pattern in the red body. The Front with a cherry blossom tree. Undamaged white flecks in images are dust and there is no damage. Unmarked. Size H 5" by 3"
This is a graceful 10.5" pear shaped vase bearing the seal of Ando Jubei. Enameled an unusual lush shade of plum/brown with a cream accent, it is decorated with silver wire flowers that appear gold against the dark ground. The bottom rim is marked "silver", the counter-enamel is dusty plum.
Condition: No chips, hairlines or repairs. There is minor scuffing to the base rim.
