1930's Chinese Sterling Silver Tea Set Teapot with Flower & Phoenix Marked
The teapot is 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) tall by 7.2 inches (18.2 cm) wide. The cup is 1.8 inches (4.5 cm) tall by 4 inches (10.2 cm) wide. The saucer is 0.55 inch (1.4 cm) tall by 4.1 inches (10.5 cm) wide. They are 833 gram.

A 4-3/4" tall splint and sweetgrass woven Native American Northeastern embroidery or sewing thread lidded basket c1900-30. This 5" diameter Penobscot or Passamaquoddy basket retains traces of its original green and red colour and the sweetgrass still has a pleasant aroma. It is in very good condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a small split on one thin horizontal splint on the shoulder (see enlargement 4) and the fading of the external colour...
Late Qing Dynasty to Republic period (1900s to 1930s) Chinese porcelain covered round box for seal paste with underglaze blue painting of a phoenix in flight among wispy clouds. Excellent quality freehand painting with beautiful washes, in superb condition, was never used, I guess. Four seal style character mark on the bottom. Very quiet subtle piece for scholar’s desk. Diameter 2 1/2 inches.
It was from early 20th century with traditional Chinese dragon patterns.
