Offered here is a decorative needlepoint pillow in a Chinese jar motif. The colors are predominantly blue and white and it appears to be in the style of the art deco period. One of the jars has a lid, one has blossoms in it and there is a wonderful large bat in the upper right hand corner. The pillow is about 16" square and has a velvet back. The pillow is in very fine condition with only some slight fading to the back.

Unusual Nine Patch Hooked Rug that is more like a quilt pattern than that of a rug. Made of fairly heavy wools and hooked (or shirred?)in an unusual way that makes the texture look like brain matter. Cleverly composed so that the rust colored squares both outline the Nine Patches and are repeated to form corner blocks. Rich colors; pristine condition. Measures 26 1/2" x 65". Circa 1930.

Each panel measures 78" tall by 16.75" wide by approximately 1.25" deep. Believed to date from the 1960s or 1970s. Excellent condition. Needlepoint is clean with no visible stains.
