This small Afghanistan textile is embroidered in extremely fine satin stitch with repetitive triangular motifs in silk thread on a silk background. The Hazara are the third largest ethnic group in Afghanistan, inhabiting mostly central Afghanistan (Ghazni and Bamiyan provinces). Save 10% today... This wonderful Fenton vase is blue-grey, white and clear cased glass that was made from 1983-1985. The optic melon body shows deep swelling panels that swirl and shine through the neck to the deeply ruffled rim. It has a faint Fenton imprint on the bottom.
