Sakiori sodenashi (vest) whose wefts are cotton strips recycled from old cloth. Warps are asa (hemp) and it has hand-stitched sashiko in the upper back. The indigo cotton cloth in both sides are replaced and machine-sewn. In excellent condition. The first half of the 20th century. 44cm (top) x 74cm

Kutchi Banjara gypsy Heavy home spun Cotton tapestry panel with Silk embroidery. The panel has cotton taps at the top for hanging. This is a rare early Gypsy wall hanging with 2 skirted females in the center trimmed with mirrors. Very good condition no holes . Size loop top to bottom is 9" length 87"

Colonial Teak and Brass Campagne Letter box, with fitted interior compartments . The center section lifts out . Large and heavy at 18 pounds . Hard to find these with such a nice interior. the one loss is the front brass corner but a back corner could be moved to the front so its not noticable. Size 18" by 10" by 12" and 18 pounds.

India 19thc Kantha silk embroidered Tapestry from the Bengal area , the tapestry has peacocks Elephants and figures in silk embroidery with cotton applique trimmed with mirror. Stain spotting as usual with these . Please see photos For condition. Size 47" by 74"
