Shonsui style decoration in roundels of birds in branches with berries and of peonies, all centered by geometric decoration along the inside of the foliate rim. This is a charming smaller French Club chair circa 1940's. It has graceful lines, sits just right. It features all original leather in very good condition overall. We call this style library because that's where we found our first example of this rounded shoulder style.

For centuries, tastevins have been important accessories for French wine lovers, but until now we’ve never seen one that actually depicted “French wine lovers” in such graphic detail! Absolutely nothing is left to the imagination with this grouping of three. The unidentified maker is known to have made a similar tastevin depicting “Pétanque Fanny” merely lifting her skirts from behind. This very rare version goes quite a bit further, with Fanny in the clutches of a pair of old men...

Mid century deer antler cigar cutter with matching cigar ashtray and cigarette lighter. The cutter is stamped Pfielring Solingen and measures approximately 11.25 inches long. The lighter and ashtray have felted bottoms and measure 3.5" by 4.25" each.
This fine piece of Italian fruit sculpture by Archimede Seguso was blown into a diamond patterned mold and has a skillfully applied arrangement of crown leaves, each leaf applied individually. Executed in pure crystal glass, the sculptural form attracts and refracts light beautifully. The pineapple is 11.5" tall, has a polished bottom, and is in good condition with no damage, unmarked.
