This Tiffin red encrusted compote was produce in the 1930's with the Oneida etching. Red encrustation is very hard to find. This one is in mint condition, stands about 6.25" tall.

This super classy table server consists of the 11-1/2 x 6" pierced footed asparagus cradle or drainer and the matching 15-1/4 x 6-1/8" two-handled underplate or tray with bun feet. A charming baluster form vase decorated with a ring of drying fish by Katsuo Seiryudo (1907-1984) in the original signed wooden box. The hirame (flat fish) are unglazed except for an iron like underglaze used to draw the details, and shiny black dots for eyes. This is a large Japanese samurai doll, "Kato Kiyomasa” (a warrior from the 16th century warring period) mounted on a horse. The quality is excellent. A superb set of four Art Deco chrome shot glasses, each with a different color of opaque enamel at the rim, enclosed in a fitted leather case by Newey. Newey was a major English maker of leather goods and a supplier to top-level retailers such as Harrod's. The case is embossed with Newey's logo and each of the shot glasses is marked "Made In Germany."

Bedouin carved stag Cane-Ca. 1935-Carved nicely with two color glass eyes, horn collar, oak shaft and a copper ferrule. Size; Handle measures 3"H x 2" W and overall length of cane is 31 3/4 inches, good condition.

Pair of Chinese over-glaze iron red bowls outlining a design of peonies and lotus heads among leafy vines on the white ground on the outside and similarly decorated on the inside. The base glazed white with an under-glaze blue six character Daoguang mark surrounded in double blue circles.
