Reddish brown sack mask to which are fastened three gourds, one on top and one over each ear, and painted reddish brown. Rag ruff. Kilt made from a woman's old dress. Body painted with red-brown clay. He carries a feather and a rattle. Koyemsi is the most common Hopi clown. He appears in Mixed Katsina Dances and sometimes a group of Koyemsi appear in a dance of their own. At First Mesa they are said to sing Zuni songs...
Chinese Han Dynasty bronze mirror, this larger size mirror has a band of Chinese writing around the face as well as a scallop design the whole mirror has a beautiful verdigris coloring and is in nice solid condition. The Djompre are a small ethnic group with their homeland in the Benue Plateau State in northern Nigeria. They call themselves Kutep or Kutev, the denomination Djombre - which means cannibals - has probably been given to them by the neighbouring Chamba.
This is an absolutely beautiful Moser vase, measuring 12" tall x 3 3/4" wide. It is green to clear with deep intaglio lilies that are exquisitely done. This vase is in mint condition.
This great vintage wall hanging can be hung anywhere. It reads "Shalom" in its colorful, stained glass, abstract design. It has 5 hooks to hold keys, caps, etc. It looks beautiful just hanging from anything. It measures 8" x 2" x 3/8" and hangs 6 1/2" from its chain. It is bronze and
made in Israel in the early to late 1960s to early 70's by The Terra Sancta Guild. In English, "Shalom" means "hello, welcome, good-bye, peace," etc. It weighs about 5 ounces and is in excellent condition.
Hocking's Charm pattern was produced from 1950 to 1956 as part of their Fire King line of glassware. The square shape set it apart from other dinnerware lines when it was first manufactured, and makes it very popular with today's collectors. This stylized interpretation of a waterbird illustrates the inspiration that the environment of the Venetian Lagoon has provided for centuries of artists. The waterbird sculpture is done in sommerso, with wine red blending masterfully into light cobalt blue. I have seen this design attributed to both Archimede Seguso and Alfredo Barbini. The waterbird is in good condition, no chips at the feet, polished base, unmarked.
Pair of Mexican figures in clear and black glass. The clear glass figures have wide black sombrero's, long black mustaches and black arms with folded hands (similar in style to the Oriental figures by Seguso). The taller figure also shows off the toes of his black boots. The taller figure measures 11 inches (27.9 cm). The shorter figure, who appears to be kneeling, is 9.25 inches (23.5 cm) tall. Each figure bears a red and gold foil label with the words 'Murano Glass Made in Italy'...

Japanese wooden round kogo (box for incense during tea ceremony) lacquered with red lacquer on the inside. Material appears to be mulberry wood. Simple classic design, in perfect condition, signed SEIJU on the bottom. Diameter 2 3/8 inches. Part of a small East Coast kogo collection.
A Chinese antique pear shaped snuff bottle done in glass overlay with four colours on an opaque white ground. The bottle of compressed ovoid form raising from an oval foot to a tall cylindrical neck. One carved side shows a bird perched on a tall branch holding fruit. On this side the maker has also affixed his mark, from Yangzhou School. On the reverse it shows a bird with overhead butterflies and insects hovering over lily pods in the water...
