A small bird by Sabino, Paris. Marius Sabino was an Italian glass artist who moved to France in the 1920’s. Like Lalique, he worked with moulded and opalescent glass. Incised mark Sabino, Paris. An unusual French Art Deco cocktail pick set featuring a stylized snail carved from beautifully-grained macassar ebony. The snail has a very unusual streamline aerodynamic appearance and colorful phenolic ornaments on the antennae. The set is completed with an ebony and bakelite "basket" holding chrome cocktail picks with multicolored phenolic heads.

An extremely rare set of 12 sterling silver and enamel tea or coffee spoons from the "Cymric" line produced by Liberty & Co. in partnership with the Birmingham silversmith William Hair Haseler. The stems of the spoons have an incised trailing motif accented with translucent shaded enamels in blue and green. Only a few designers produced spoon designs for the Cymric line, and this style is typical of designs by Archibald Knox around 1910...

A delightful French Art Deco cocktail pick set in the form of a carved rosewood cat arching his back to hiss at a little chrome snail. A wooden rack holds six chrome cocktail picks, each topped with a snail. All are presented on a macassar ebony base. Sets such as these were used in French homes as well as on the bar counters at cafes.

A 10 inch tall Loetz cameo glass vase with a daisy design in dark topaz over a yellow background. The flattened bulbous vase is 5 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches deep. The vase is signed “C. A. Loetz’ with the “C. a.’ meaning “Compagnie anonyme” This signature was on cameo glass intended for export to the United States. The mark is shown as signature 108 on page 331 of ”Loetz Bohemian Glass 1880 - 1940" by Hatje Cantz.
