Set of an wooden 'Torii' (Shinto shrine archway) and a pair of Imado clay fox dolls as the messengers of god based on Cult of Inari, Showa period, 1970s, Japan...

This large carved turquoise snuff bottle is 3 inches tall, 2 ½ inches on the widest part and 1 ¾ thick. One side depicts two old gentlemen chatting in front of a small hut, a tall pine tree is in the middle and a third gentleman is sitting alone in meditation next to the tree. The other side depicts an old man walking through a pass toward to a hut under a mountain. This piece was carved around 1980. It has a silver cylinder shape cap, but the spoon is gone...

Japanese Kamakura Bori fish dish or tray. Finely hand carved in the shape of a red sea bream using the Kamakura lacquer technique, this dish was made for Fitz & Floyd in the 1970's. In excellent condition, it measures 15" long, 6" at widest point.

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1154 sweet pea vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in pink cased glass. (A layer of pink glass over an inner milk-white layer, this treatment is very rare as it was only made from 1938 to about 1940.)The vase is approximately 4 1/2 inches high and in perfect condition...

This fine piece of Italian fruit sculpture by Archimede Seguso was blown into a diamond patterned mold and has a skillfully applied arrangement of crown leaves, each leaf applied individually. Executed in pure crystal glass, the sculptural form attracts and refracts light beautifully. The pineapple is 11.5" tall, has a polished bottom, and is in good condition with no damage, unmarked.

This difficult to find tool-of-the trade pharmacy “IDEAL CAPSULE FILLER” was used by early 20th century druggists to enhance their capsule production. The patent date is stamped Oct. 31, 1905, and research indicates that it was produced by the "Baltimore Capsule Co."

The machine produces 2 different size capsules and has a filling plate that sports 4 parallel rows, each having the capacity of making 24 capsules. Also included are 2 capsule filling trays...

Set of 6 800 silver art nouveau figural small teaspoons, Germany, c.1900. Each shows a lovely woman's head with flowing hair in an art nouveau floral setting. The reverse represents the back of the head in a floral setting. Each spoon measures 4 1/2" long. They are signed "800 German marks star" on the back. Chinese Shiwan (Shekwan) pottery model of a Daoist Immortal, holding a fan and seated on a large gourd. The figure resembles Li Tieguai, who ordinarily is depicted with his staff and often carrying a gourd which was believed to contain medicine powerful enough to revive the dead. The figure holds a fan, the main attribute of the immortal Zhongli Quan (Han Zhongli). The fan is believed to have the power to revive the dead. Perhaps the figure is an amalgam of the two immortals...
