Here we have a very unique ceremonial tea implement made by one of the most important figures from Japanese tea culture in the past century. While most tea scoops (chashaku) are made of bamboo, this piece is fashioned from the branch of a plum tree and retains part of the bark on the handle...

This charming covered jar in translucent yellow glass is topped with an opaque green fruit with stem. Made in the 1890s by Salviati. The body of the jar and lid are ribbed and have a lovely iridescence. The bottom of the base has multi-point pontil marks. It stands 6" high and 4" wide. A similar fruit-topped lid is shown in Carol Osbourne's "Venetian Glass of the 1890s: Salviati at Stanford University" P. 126, Plate 137. The piece is in excellent condition.

A black and white Aboriginal subject earthenware dish or wall plaque, made circa 1965, by Studio Anna, Australia. condition - there are small under-rim chips and there is a crackled glaze to the reverse; no repairs or restoration. 24.5cm (9.7inches) diameter.

Duncan and Miller Sandwich Cake Stand, 13" circumference and 4.8" high". The Sandwich pattern was made from 1924 to 1955. In excellent condition. Vintage East Indian altar shrine, made from brass with copper nails. The step base leads into the shrine with embossed tree panels behind four pillars. The top of the structure has two peacock shaped finials. Openwork repeating patterns and floral motifs are shown throughout.

Pair of Chinese Famille Rose Vase with Chirography and Fu Lion Ears, Early 20th Century

They are 22 inches (55.9 cm) tall by 7 inches (18 cm) wide measured without stand. They are 34 lb.

One vase has a faint hairline crack at the lip, and the other vase has hairline glaze crack at the neck. Both have rubbing of gold and paint and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Stylish and jokey sterling silver cabbage head sauce bowl and ladle. Made by Buccellati in Italy. Domed cover set in bowl, both comprising overlapping leaves with realistic veins and irregularities. Ladle has branch handle and leaf bowl. Clear glass liner. Ladle marked “Buccellati Italy Sterling”. Bowl has post-1967 mark (26 MI) with “Buccellati / Italy / Sterling” and “925 [in oval]”.
