This is a really nice set of Vitrock with Blue Accent Leaf and Blossom Snack Set made by Anchor Hocking Glass. This Leaf Plate measures 8 inches in diameter. The Blossom Cup measures 3 inches in diameter. Both the plate and cup are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. They are not signed. The handles have hand-made floral decoration and the lifter end has roses, and would also work nicely for serving asparagus. This lovely child's hat was hand-embroidered by women of Kohistan, an area of lush green forests and valleys located on the river Indus. The embroidery technique is a fine cross stitch and brick stitch in acrylic thread with white beads and buttons. Diameter: 7.5 inches, circumference: 18 inches. Condition: Excellent. Estimated age: late 20th century. The hat size indicates it was made for an infant or toddler.
These beautiful stems were designed by Reuben Haley and produced by the Consolidated Glass Company in the late 1920's. The pattern is called 'Five fruits' and is one of Consolidated's scarce tableware lines. A Persian Shahsavan bag dating from around 1900. The face is woven in wool in Sumakh flatweave technique, showing different repeating ornaments. The back is made of stripes in Kilim. Originally this wool bag was a double bag. Condition: clean, vibrant colors. The selvages with signs of partial wear, the back with damaged area. Dimension: 52 cm x 47 cm.
