Midcentury Modern sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Svend Toxværd in Copenhagen. Baluster body with helmet mouth and grape-bunch mounted scroll handle. Alternating grape bunches and palmettes applied to base. Body has allover hand hammering. Fine Danish craftsmanship with a strong Jensen influence. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Anchor Hocking's Sandwich pattern is one of the most recognized Hocking patterns. The Forest Green pieces were made during the mid 1950's. Japanese Kutani Porcelain Covered Jar, Kutani porcelain covered jar with 2 vignettes of landscape against a rust ground with gilt accents together with a Nippon (?) porcelain covered jar- floral motif on white with green and turquoise borders, good condition. The Kutani jar stands 6 1/4 inches high and second item's height at 7 1/2 inches.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in 1927. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The porcelain is the finest quality the Western world has seen. The set has slightly scalloped edges that alternate with little points. It is hand painted with sprigs of nasturtiums and foliage. This is a rustic brushpot a farmer in rural Hubei carved this out of a tree trunk. He spotted the branch at the right and decided not to trim it Hence this pot has a handle. Its skin is old and patinated. It is a charming pot. It dates from the 19th century.

These fantastic, rare Morgantown wine stems feature delicate, whisper-thin blown Pineapple optic crystal clear bowls. Attached are deep amber, almost a root beer color pulled stems with clear blown feet. Each is a bit of art from the 1920s-1930s. Each sparkly piece stands 5 1/8" tall and 3 1/2" across the cut and finished rim. I have other Morgantown and elegant glassware in my inventory ... take a peek.

In pristine condition, is this Japanese woodblock album displaying 6 famed prints, although these are not originals, yet they are actual wood block prints done for the 1964 Olympics in Japan. Please read the label description on book cover; the woodblocks are 44 years old with no soiling, smudge, or any imperfection whatsoever. They were adapted for stamps, but each are sized image area about 5" by 7" and each come with the original acid free protective tissue paper.

Decoy of a Canada Goose, dimensions roughly 28" by 9" by 8", weight 8 1/2 pounds, unsigned. I am not able to attribute this to any particular carver. As an art dealer I cannot claim to be a specialist in duck and goose decoys, but I think this has some age, circa mid 20th century. There is convincing wear, and a deep split in the wood along the left side, as if from the wood drying over time. A fine piece of folk art for the home. Came from a high end Beverly Hills estate.

This is an exquisite set of nine dresser pieces that are in fantastic shape. The pieces include a cuticle stick, nail buffer, mirror, brush, shoe horn, powder jar, cotton ball jar, toothbrush holder and monogrammed jar. These pieces do show some wear but for their age and the amount of love and use they are in outstanding shape. The mirror is an especially amazing find, very heavy, good quality glass. These pieces date back to the 1920's...

Offered is this rare Murano glass compote, made by Barovier & Toso (designer: Ercole Barovier) around 1940. The shell-shaped ('Conchiglia') compote is 15 inches (38 cm) long and 8 3/4 inches (22 cm) high. It is in very good condition. The pontil is polished. The shell-shaped compote has a complex marine-themed foot/support, also done with gold flecks (also, there is a slight iridescence to the blue-top glass)...

This is a truly exceptional example of the artistry of Berndt Friberg. This very large vase measures 15 1/4" (39cm) and is 3 1/2" (9cm) in diameter. On the underside is incised Friberg with the Gustavsberg Studio Hand insignia. The date code c signifies this vase was created in 1961. The blue/brown haresfur glaze is perfection.

Hocking Glass Company made this Lace Edge (Old Colony) Cereal Bowl. They were produced between 1935-1938. Bowl measures 6.5" across, 1.5" deep. 2 are available, in excellent condition.
